Grad Inspiration

It's that time of year again, school's almost out and 2013 Grads are celebrating!!  Love the new Graduation Collection by Doodlebug, not only cause Doodlebug is my favorite paper line, but the owls are stinkin' cute!!  I made a layout (finally inspired to get my daughter's pre-school graduation pictures scrapped!) and then a unique money/gift card holder.  Thanks to Doodlebug for inspiration on re-creating this card "box" I had done last year and changing it up.  Here is a tutorial on how you can make this card ~ can be any theme and it folds up nicely to stick into an envelope!  Enjoy!!
(dies used: Nesting Circles and Nesting Scallop Circles)

Money/Gift Card Holder Tutorial:

Start with a piece of cardstock 4"x11".  Score at 1", 2 1/2", 4" and 5 1/2".

Cut a slit to hold gift card or cash between the 1" and 2 1/2" score lines. Fold on score lines, rolling to make a box and attach 1" scored piece to card back as shown below.
 Decorate card as desired.
