The Super Kid papers by Pebbles are soooo cute I had to make a layout!  My friend had the perfect pictures of her grandson in his super hero costume. This is what I created with them.
(dies used: Nesting Pinking Circles, Nesting Circles and 2x2 star)

I love how most of the new papers being released have the journaling cards that you just have to cut out making it super easy and fast to create cards, titles and gifts.  Here I took one of the journaling cards, added "treats" lettering to it and tied around a candy filled jar.  Super fast, Super cute gift!!

A friend of mine asked me if I could cut out Wedding Subway Art in Vinyl for her to mount on a frame.  Of course I can!!  Here is the Subway art I designed and then cut out of vinyl.  Love how it turned out!  Now I'll get busy and do Football Subway Art on canvas for my son's room that we are remodeling....

Embossing Dies

I've tried the newest dies ~ Detailz ~ and they are so cool!!  Here is a little step by step for cutting and embossing.

First take the die and paper and cut like any other die you want to cut through your machine ~ highly recommend the Evolution ~ works like a charm ~ best die cut machine I've used:

Once cut, leave the paper in the die (here I used one of the new Doilies), then take the rubber mat and mat B (which you'd use for embossing folders) from the Genius Platform set and run through your machine again:

Now you have a cut & embossed die ~ the detail is AWESOME!!

The new rubber mat is for use with the Genius Ultimate Platform, and is perfect for adding embossed detail to your die-cut shape.

Here I used the detailed doily on a tissue box I made for my daughter:

April QuicKutz Club

April Club Kits are ready for pick-up!!
This month's project I used many different dies to make one card.  I used the cloud border die to create a unique edging for the pattern paper.  Hope you have fun putting this card together!
Die of the Month:

Umbrellas seem to be the next big thing!!  This particular die is super cute and universal ~ you can use the outline only or mix and match papers to "fill" in the umbrella.  Love dies with choices!
(dies used: Nesting Scallop Circles, Nesting Circles, Tape-It Kit and Umbrella (exclusive April 2013 Club die))

(dies used: Nesting Frame 4 and Umbrella (exclusive April 2013 Club die))

Many cards ~ One look

I needed some birthday cards fast and what better way to make them than keep the same "sketch" and use scrap papers.  I had some leftover cupcake stickers that also worked perfect for these cards.  Quick & simple ~ next time you need cards fast, use the same design with different papers and embellishments!

I love to do challenges where you come up with a project using a specific theme.  At Paper Issues, the Current Issues challenge is "Up in the Clouds" ~ design a project with clouds, planes, birds, stars, rainbows...etc.  The new Doodlebug Stars & Stripes line was my media choice, the plane is super cute so I made a card using "cloud" theme.
