using frames
I found this frame at a hobby store and thought it would be perfect to design with. The great thing about clear picture holders is that you can glue embellishments to the outside. Think outside the page:

Another way to use Nesting Dies
Did you know that you can take nesting dies and make silhouette shapes from them? Here I took the Nesting Eyelet Circles die and then placed a Nesting Circle die in the center, then I ran through the Epic. The result, a Nesting Eyelet Circle Silhouette. This technique works well with any of the nesting decorative edged circles, squares, ovals, rectangles and hearts dies. Try it yourself!!
-insert circle into center of eyelet circle die
-place paper on top and then cut through machine
-finished eyelet circle silhouette
Finished card using the circle die cut:

Did you know?
You can get perfect looking "flags" or "banners" with square die cuts. Using Nesting Square dies, just cut the desired paper piece, grab the right size of square die, place paper diagonally from point to point on the square die and then cut. Get the perfect looking cut every time!
-Flag/Banner cut papers
-place paper diagonally from point to point on die
-perfect cuts every time
Layout using this technique:

Shame on me!!
I didn't use any QuicKutz on these two layouts I just designed (slap my hand here) but I wanted to show them as you can totally add dies with this collection ~ I used the sticker sheet to promote product line.
(dies could have used: Nesting scallop rectangle, Nesting Bloom, Pennants, Edge-It kit and any font!)
(dies could have used: Nesting Frame 4, 4x4 Notebook Sheet, measure tape and any font!)
And I whipped up a couple 6x6 layouts with leftovers to give to my mother-in-law:
(dies used: Nesting Circles and could have used Edge-It kit)
(dies could have used: measuring tape and any font!)

I had to re-create the "with sympathy" card I made using the ice cream cone die cut, where I took the scoop and turned it upside down to create a flower ~ somewhere the card went missing.........anyways I kinda like the new one now better! Someone out there I hope is enjoying my first card ~ smiles!!
(dies used: Nesting Circles, Nesting Lace Circles, 2x2 leaf and 2x2 ice cream cone-March Club die)
St. Patty Day Treats!
I made up these treat bags for co-workers to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I love the gift bag die ~ so many possibilities!!
