Made in Minutes

Happy Monday!!  It's Made in Minutes over on the My Creative Time Blog.
Our challenge is to design something that is "made in minutes" ~ with the products offered by My Creative Time, it's an easy task!
This card I made took me about 20 minutes.  I used up extra cuts I had from other projects which saved some time. Love how the "instant photo" die cut can add so much to your projects!

Whatever Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!  Today is Whatever Wednesday over on My Creative Time blog
Today I created this Layout with new Bella Blvd. Max Collection and a super cute picture of my son!! Lovin' the new papers by Bella ~ so much BOY!!

Here is a close up of the dies I used ~ found some real wood veneer paper and it works like a charm using die cuts on it. Doesn't the little Restroom Man look like one of the pre-made wood chip pieces you can buy?

Always needing a birthday card??  This card I made was super quick, took me 15 minutes, including cutting time! The longest part was picking papers!  This simple design can be used for any holiday or birthday ~ just change the paper and icon die cut.

Thrifty Thursday

Happy Thursday!  Today is Thrifty Thursday on My Creative Time Blog. The goal was to create a project using scraps/leftovers or a recycled item.  I made a card from the scraps on my desk after designing the layout I made yesterday.  It was fun to do with the die cut letters and the "negative" eggs paper piece I had from cutting out ~ I'm impressed they cut out straight!!  How fun is this!!  How do you use up your scraps??
Close up of dies I used ~ love the negative look on the eggs!

Whatever Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!  Today is Whatever Wednesday over on My Creative Time blog
Today I created this Easter Layout with pictures going way back!  It's great to get pictures scrapped!!
Want a tip on how to get your die cut letters straight for cards and layouts......check out below for the trick I use!
Close up of the dies I used ~ loving the letters!
Products Used:
Paper & Stickers: Doodlebug Designs ~ Springtime Collection
My Creative Time Products: Hello Chickie!
Buttons, Twine and Sprinkles

Alphabet die cut letters are awesome but sometimes placing these letters straight can be challenging. I place my letters where I want them, using a t-ruler to get them straight and then I take a piece of removable Scotch tape and place it over my letters.

Once they're stuck to the tape I lift it off and then using a glue pen, I glue the letters.

I then take the tape and place the letters where I want them, press down on the letters to adhere them and then gently peel the tape away.
Walla, the letters are all placed exactly where I want them and straight!  Hope this tip helps you with die cut letters!

The newest die that was just released Friday,  "typewriter die" made my project super easy!  I took some washi tape, enamel dots and sequins and "whipped up" these note cards.  The hardest part making these cards was trying to stamp with a cat on my lap!!

"Little Bitty Blog Hop"!

Welcome to this FUN "Little Bitty Blog Hop"! If you did not arrive here from Lucia's blog, then you might want to start off at the beginning of the hop HERE because there is NOTHING you want to miss!
Emma has been getting SEVERAL requests to make a die to coordinate w/her cute Typewriter stamp that is in the "Once Upon a Time" stamp set! As for the "Never Be Lost" set, well….this is a MUST HAVE for LOTS of fun projects such as your project life albums, scrapbook pages, smash booking, cards.. etc…..! The possibilities are simply endless w/these 2 new items! Sit back, relax & hop along w/us to see some AMAZING & DIFFERENT ways to use these 2 "tiny but mighty" new items! ;)

Aren't these the BEST!!  First up I took on the Typewriter Die ~ made a card and layout.  Using the typewriter on the layout was just the right look as I took a vintage picture that has a great story behind it, added the title "Once upon a time..." and voila, a perfectly showcased page! My Mom had given me a envelope full of old pictures and said "scrap away".  I know she will be thrilled with this page for her album!!

Next up was the "Never Be Lost" stamp set with Geotag dies. These would be perfect for travel themed cards and layouts, but I decided to change it up a bit and focus on what different ways to use the Geotag die as it's just stinkin' cute!!  After completing the first card, I thought oooohhhh a flower and that's how I used this die for my second card ~ petals & leaves, I think it made the perfect flower, don't you?

Tag It Tuesday

Today is Tag It Tuesday over on My Creative Time blog.  We are to make a project with a tag theme.  I decided to take a card and add a tag to the front and also the tag pocket die so I can slip a nice gift card inside!!  With this card an ice cream gift card will be the perfect touch, don't you think?? (unfortunately I only had a boring gift card on hand to showcase where it will go for picture purpose). I also like the fact that this card can be used for a birthday, thank you or just simply I'm thinking of you!

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!  Today is Scrapping the Little Things on the My Creative Time blog.

I've been making my Mom 8x8 layouts for her to cherish in an album of her grandkids.  It's been great as I usually make the 8x8 after I've completed a 12x12 for myself so use up all those extra pieces!! Today though I actually made the 8x8 before I'll make my 12x12 ~ found this 3x5 picture and wanted to use the new Doodlebug Easter papers. Maybe I'll get a layout done for myself later......

Using all the MCT goodies made this layout "egg-straordinary" - here is a close up!! Aren't these dies and stamps the absolute best!!

Whatever Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!  Today is Whatever Wednesday over on My Creative Time blog.  I created this St. Patrick's Day treat holder and will make a lot more to give to friends & co-workers this month.  I took the Embossed Gift Card Holder and thought it would be perfect to hold some yummy Andes chocolates and it does!!  Love the new Hat die so absolutely had to incorporate it on this holder!  The flourish clover stamp fit perfectly on the top of the holder ~ added the right touch.

Inside of holder:
 Products Used:
Paper: Pink Paislee
My Creative Time Products: Stitched Curly Label Die
Twine & Sprinkle

Try Me Tuesday

Happy Tuesday!  It's Try Me Tuesday over at My Creative Time.  Today we are to "try" using Emma's dies in a way that is unexpected, that is not its intended use. I took a look at the Tag Dies and decided to turn one into a mini post-it note holder.  For the pencil holder, I curled up one of the banner dies from the "build a banner kit" and attached it with a brad to the right side of the tag.  I also placed a magnet on the back of this tag so it would be a cute little note pad on my fridge!!  Hope this inspired you to use Emma's goodies in different ways!!

Product List:
Paper & Sticker: Doodlebug ~ Take Note

Twine, Ribbon and Sprinkles
