Santa's Helpers....

Hey Everyone, it's Candace from Candi O. Designs with my last post as November's Guest Designer at SVG Cutting Files!  Thank you Ann for this awesome, fun opportunity ~ your files are amazing and so much fun to work with!  I'm honored that I could share my projects with you all!  With that said, here are my last two projects.

First, I love the little body lotions and that they fit perfectly in the mini bottle carrier file so I created this box, filled with soap and then decorated the front.  Because I'm most likely to give this to a friend of the holidays, I thought the file Santa's Helper - Jordan was the perfect touch.  Isn't she the cutest!!  Awesome gift to give a girlfriend!

Paper: Doodlebug Designs ~ Santa Express 6x6 paper pack

Day 3 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

Today is day three of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's 38th release!
We are showcasing two new sets ~"Snow Buddies" and "Winter Snowman Dies".  These two sets coordinate with each other and personally ~ are a MUST HAVE!!!

I had "snow" much fun with these sets that I created three projects utilizing the sets to the fullest!!

First, I made this gift carrier as these lotions were perfectly wintery for a snowman!  From the Snowman dies, I pieced this little man together.  The sentiment is from the stamp set "Snow Buddies".  You can see too how the oval dies we sneaked on Day 1 work well with these sets!!

Next, I used the second snowman die to create this little man who I thought was perfect to go onto the front of a pack of tic tacs.  I just covered the tic tacs with cardstock and then decorated the front.  I added a little pom pom to his hat for added detail.

Lastly, I created this gate-fold card using the new oval die cuts and the "Snow Buddies" stamp set.  I colored in this little snowman using copics and wink of stella pens ~ love how he turned out and he was so much fun (and therapeutic) to color!!  Bonus: with the die set, there is a die that cuts the stamped snowmen out perfectly!!!!

To make this card:  score a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4 on the 11" side.  Fold scored lines towards middle to made card.  Next, cut ovals as shown.  With the large scallop oval, glue half to left flap.  Small inside oval, glue half to right flap.  Easy & Fun!!

Snow Buddies Stamp Set (new release)
Winter Snowman Dies (new release)
Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies (new release)

Other Products Used:
Paper: Doodlebug Designs ~ Frosty Friends
Cardstock: American Crafts

Day 2 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

Today is the second day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's 38th release! We are showcasing two new sets ~ "Window Sentiments & Flowers Stamp Set" and "Stitched Window Dies & Accessories".  These two sets compliment each other with the coordinating stamps and dies from each set.
Lots of ideas in using both these sets but I kept this card a little simple for today.  Will be showcasing lots more ideas with these two sets in the future!!

I used the window die to cut out middle of the pattern paper piece and then I cut out the window from white cardstock three times and layered them together before placing inside the cut pattern paper for depth. Again, love the stitching ~ adds so much!!

Window Sentiments & Flowers (new release)
Stitched Window Dies & Accessories (new release)

Holiday Fun!!

Hey Everyone, it's Candace again from Candi O. Designs with another project as November's Guest Designer at SVG Cutting Files!
I just love these cute little guys, they are absolutely adorable!!  This file, Holiday Set - 1 is awesome as you get all 8 cuties!!  Oh the things you can make with them this holiday..........
The penguin is who I started with and oh my he's adorable!!!  I decided to create a card with him however wanted to make a special type of card that could also be used as a holiday decoration.  Using the penguin as the focal point, I just typed the letters J and Y, shadowed them and then outlined the letters and penguin to make the card base.  Sounds like a lot of work, but you know with these SVG Cutting Files, it was easy peasy!!!

Isn't the penguin the cutest ever!!!  The holly cut is from the snowman that comes in this file too!
Products Used:
Paper: Doodlebug Designs
Twine, gems and enamel dot

Next, I decided to use the snowman and reindeer files from Holiday Set - 1 to accent a scrapbook page.  Aren't they perfect!!

Just lovin' these guys!!!! A little ink, some white pen accents and glitter pen really make them come alive!
Products Used:
Paper: Bella Blvd. ~ Christmas Cheer
Twine, ribbon, gems, enamel dots and sequins

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great day!!
See you again next Sunday!

Scrapping the Little Things

Today is Scrapping the Little Things over on the My Creative Time blog.
I was going through my fall pictures and came across these adorable ones of my daughter when she was just a baby!  I've scrapped these pictures before but absolutely love these pictures and using MCT Products this time around really showcased perfectly how I want to capture this memory!!
Using the script dies with the font dies really adds a great contrast title!
Leaves, leaves, leaves......love these!!!  And can you see the stitching on the picture edge?  Using the rectangular dies on pictures gives a great look.
