Made in Minutes

It's Made in Minutes over on the My Creative Time Blog. Our challenge is to design something that is "made in minutes" ~ with the products offered by My Creative Time, it's super fun and easy to do!!

I'm just loving the new bee stamp set and dies!!  This card maybe took me 12 minutes to complete. I layered pattern paper on black and then pop dotted white paper that I cut hexagons out of on left onto the pattern paper.  I stamped the sentiment and "bee" tail right onto white cardstock and then pop dotted a die cut bee to card front.  Super easy & super cute!!


After stamping the bee die cut, I used Wink of Stella yellow to color in the bee body and then Wink of Stella clear glitter pen for the wings ~ the shine really added to the little guy!

Happy Birthday!

It's my daughter's birthday today!! She loves her Monster High dolls so I made this card with the cutest vampire girl cut file!  She already had her friend birthday party earlier this month so today is family party day!  Lucky girl gets 2 parties!!  Pedi's, lunch & dinner planned with Nana & Grampa ~ awesome day!!

My Creative Time Blog Hop

 I'm showcasing the adorable Sit Back & Relax set (again!) ~ love it sooo much.  I made a gift box and a tag with it, now it was time for a layout!!

And here is the layout I made using the coordinating dies that come in the set and one of the sentiments ~ Flippin' Cute!!

I added rhinestones to these flip flops and again made the umbrella to resemble a beach umbrella.

This sentiment worked perfect for this layout.

Day 4 ~ My Creative Time Sneak Peek

It's our last day of  My Creative Time Sneaky Peeks, and we've got three GREAT ones to share with you today:   "Live Love Bark", "Loyal Friends" and "My Kids have Paws".  If you are a dog lover, you are going to LOVE these!

I personally don't have a dog, just a cat that thinks he's a dog!!  My friends and parents have dogs so I was inspired to create this dog bone treat jar and will give it to one of my friends ~ she will love it!!

 Love the big bone die which comes in the "Live Love Bark" stamp set ~ I added some white gel pen dots to it.  The sentiment is from the stamp set "Loyal Friends".
 Here I embossed the stamp "Live Love Bark" and then added a couple of paw die cuts from "Loyal Friends" set.  These sets really do go together nicely!!

So these sets inspired me to dig out some pictures and get scrappin'.  Aren't they perfect for this picture of Pluto & my kids!!!
 Isn't the dog house die adorable!!  This die comes with the "Loyal Friends" set.  The "Love" sentiment on the heart is from "Live Love Bark".

Day 3 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

It's day 3 of My Creative Time's 33rd Release!!  Today we are sneaking 3 new sets ~ "Stitched Honey Comb Dies" ~ "Bee Happy" Stamp Set ~ "Stitched Bees & Beehive Dies".  All I can say is "ADORABLE"!!

When I first saw the Stitched Honey Comb dies, I immediately thought of little note cards and how cute they would be adding the bees and sentiment stamps to them!  So away I went and created this little box note card set. I used the large Honeycomb Die for the card base.
 I created the box from my silhouette to fit these little note cards perfectly!
 Made some envelopes from the We R Memory Envelope Punch Board to accommodate these cards.
 Aren't these note cards cute??  Same simple pattern but different bees and sentiments. So fun to make!

Day 2 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

Day 2 of the Sneak Peeks and we are showcasing 2 summer filled sets!!  Surf's Up Stamp Set which also includes coordinating dies and Sit Back & Relax Stamp Set that also comes with coordinating dies.  Did you join our Flip Flop Blog Hop on Friday??  If so, you've gotten a good look at all the creative projects the Design Team did with the Sit Back & Relax set but today we will show you more!!  
First off I made an easel fold card and used the Surf's Up Set.  I used all the dies that come with this set ~ love them!!  With the beach theme, I added a pocket of sand to the front of the card.


Aren't the surf boards & beach ball adorable!! The stamp images really add to the die cut boards!

I found these cute little sand pail sets and knew they'd be perfect to add a beachy little tag to them!  These 2 new Beach Sets we are showing worked perfect!!

 


The Surf's Up set comes with 2 different surf board stamp images ~ I used one on this board.  Love the beach ball die ~ you can make the ball any color you like!
 Here are those adorable flip flops again!!  I added the mini star die cut from 4x4 Journal Die + More set and then topped off with a gem ~ super cute!!

Day 1 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

Today is the first day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's new release.
We are showcasing 2 new sets ~ "You are Fabulous" stamp set and "Happy Thoughts" stamp set which also includes coordinating dies.  I made a layout and a card with these sets.  Love the new pattern stamps that are included in the "You are Fabulous" set which I used on the stars and circle dies.  This is just a start of this awesome new release!!!

I cut out the "Happy" die which is from "Happy Thoughts" set and then stamped the "Fourth of July!" right on the background paper which is also from this set ~ Makes a great title!!

Here is a close up of the stamp patterns I did on the die cut stars. Love these to give a slight pattern to the dies without cutting from pattern papers!

Here is a close up of the pattern stamp I used on one of the circle dies.  Also, I cut out 3 of the "thanks" die and layered them together to give some depth to the card.

Happy Flip Flop Day!!

HELLO everyone & welcome to our "Happy Flip Flop Day Blog Hop!"  We are ALL SUPER EXCITED because we will be showcasing a set called "Sit Back & Relax" that will be released next week! This FUN set includes a total of 19 stamps with coordinating dies! I created this gift box to really showcase this set ~ used 2 of the sentiments and also the coordinating dies that come with it!  Flippin' love this set!!

I used the treat wrapper from the Treat Slider Box die which fit one of the sentiments I used from this new set perfectly ~ making a cute tag!  For the umbrella, I just clipped off the bottom to create the "beach" look. 

Aren't these flip flops "flipping" cute!!  The sentiments with this stamp set are absolutely flipping adorable too!!!
