Back from CHA....

and I survived!! Now all I want to do is play with all the new stuff but I have to wait til it all arrives! What I did notice at the show was a lot of Travel/Camping themed papers and I got all excited as the Travel Release Dies of QuicKutz will be perfect with all the new papers! If you haven't seen or picked up any of these dies, don't wait cause when the paper arrives, I think these dies are going to "fly" out the door. And speaking of CHA, QuicKutz is releasing new dies that will be available to you on March 2nd. This release is packed full of Embossing dies, Border Edge dies (love them!) and 3 new fonts. As soon as I receive some of these dies, I'll post samples and hopefully show off some of the new papers we got at the show too!

And yes while I was at CHA, my kids said "hi" to Mickey Mouse, maybe I can turn some of the QuicKutz dies into mouse ears???

Got Camping Pictures??

then you need to get these dies! The dies from December's Travel Release are perfect for all your travel/holiday needs. I'll have to get pictures of my suitcase I'm packing to head out to CHA this weekend just so I can use that super cute luggage die!! Here is a layout using a few of the dies:

(dies used: 4x4 tent, 4x4 sign, Cookie Cutter Road Signs, Teriyaki and Enjoy alphabet sets)

Finally got a chance......

to "play" with the Black Friday Calendar Kit dies and I'm loving all the pieces you get that you can use in many different ways, not just the suggested calendar way. Here is a layout:

Resolutions is the theme for January's QuicKutz Release. These dies however are not just for resolutions, there are a few dies that could fall into categories like goals, to-dos, should-dos, and dreams. Here are a couple of cards I made with a few of the dies ~ I'm waiting on delivery of the rest!!

(used 4x4 tags, 2x2 hot drink ~ the base of the card I used Gingerbread page insert die)

All About Fonts

I love fonts and QuicKutz always has the perfect ones to complete my layouts!
For this layout I used 4x8 Chandelier for the title which totally matched one of the fonts in this new Little Yellow Bicycle ~ Sweet Love line. Love it!!

And for this layout I used Central Park Cookie Cutter Alphabet set for the title. To be honest, I was not a big fan of this particular font but now it has won me over! I also found that the price for this alphabet set is unbelievable! It comes with upper case, lower case, numbers and punctuations and is below half the price of all the other Classic Cookie Cutter sets. If you don't own this set and love fonts, I highly recommend you come into the store and check it out!!

(paper used on this layout: Bo Bunny ~Love Bandit)

Need a Vacation??

I'm thinking I may after spending the afternoon designing with the Travel QuicKutz dies!!
I dug deep for these pictures (before I went digital actually!) hence why they are so dark, but they were the perfect ones for these dies:
(used 4x4 Motor home die and billboard sign set cookie cutter dies)

Seems like everyone has pictures like these, why not show them off with the perfect embellishment - 4x4 suitcase die:
(also used 4x8 License plate alphabet die and 4x4 journaling block die)

Here I created the cutest little mini album to take with you on any trip or send to a family member that wants to see you on your vacation. All I used was the 4x4 luggage die and created an accordion insert:
(mini album front)

(inside of mini album)

Here's looking at my savings fund, maybe once it's full I can take that vacation I need!!!

(used 2x2 luggage die, 2x2 push pin, 2x2 road sign and 4x8 sticky notes alphabet)
Hope these inspired you to get your vacation pictures scrapped or get ahead on layouts waiting for holiday pictures!!
