Easel Desk Calendars

Hi Everyone!!  I wanted to share these easel desk calendars I made for friends.  I love the die cut from Stamp Anniething ~ Easel Frame.  I cut out pattern paper, then cut out coordinating cardstock piece, which then I used the easel frame die on.  I glued pattern paper to cardstock and then had base for the calendar.  I decorated each calendar with each friends' favorite animal.  These were a lot of fun to make and I still have some calendars to use up so wait and see how I decorate the next batch!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

Hearts for Sale

Hey Everyone!! Candace here from Candi O. Designs and it's my day over at the SVG Cutting Files Blog.  I love the layers of hearts on the layout file ~ Best Friends Forever.  I took out some papers from Doodlebug Designs latest collection and started layering the cuts on a 12x12 cardstock sheet.  Instead of using the title to this layout, I made up the file ~ Lil Cupid Girl and added her to bottom left of layout. I embellished her with some die cuts and stamp I had in my stash.  I also cut out more hearts to add to layout.  Now I have a layout ready for a cute picture!!

Love Notes Cards

Hey Everyone!!  Today I made some cards using the new Doodlebug Designs Collection ~ Love Notes.  This collection is so cute like all Doodlebug Designs products!!  I love that these cards don't have to be just for Valentine's Day.  I cut out the tags from one of the pattern papers, then matched background pattern papers.  I cut the bases with die cuts.  I then used the Odds & Ends as well as the sticker sheet to add to the tags.  I think they turned out pretty darn cute!!

Apple Mini Album

Hi Everyone!!  I was asked to make a Red Apple Themed Mini Album.  I thought it would look cute to have the actual pages in the album be apple shaped.  I cut the outline pages like a card and cut out 4 of them.  I then cut the leaves, stems and base of apple in red polka dot paper.  Once I had the album together, I punched two holes on left side, put rings in holes to keep pages together, then tied ribbon around the rings.  Once album was together, I decorated each page with apple paper, a mat for pictures and embellished with all the apple products I had.  I think it turned out pretty cute!!

Products Used:
Cardstock: American Crafts
Polka dot Paper: Echo Park Paper
Pattern Papers & Stickers: Imaginisce, Echo Park, Doodlebug Designs, Simple Stories

Southern Girls Challenge ~ Team Trace

Hi Everyone!!  I was chosen to be on the Southern Girls Challenge Design Team for 2020!!
So excited as the sponsors are amazing!!  It's super fun to play with different companies!!
Here is my first post with this fun group!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Welcome to our first challenge of the New Year.
Thanks for joining us for our challenge.
This year is going to be a little different for Southern Girls.
All our challenges are going to be ANYTHING GOES!
Which is exciting as it makes it easy for everyone to enter but it does mean a rule change.
From this challenge on you may only enter 2 projects in any challenge.
The same as previously still applies that if you are based in NZ or AUS you go in the special draw.  BUT you do need to add the country code on your entry to be eligible.
We are still open papercraft so anything paper is fine to enter.
Again thank you for wanting to play along with us and we look forward to seeing your creations.
Thanks to our fantastic sponsors for this challenge....
For my first card, I used All Dressed Up ~ Just So Cool.  Isn't she just "so cool"!  I had the perfect paper to go along with her style ~ Bella Blvd. Addison Collection.  I did cut out the digital image on my Silhouette Cameo before coloring her as I wanted her to pop off the card.
For my next card, I used Newton's Nook Designs ~ Fancy Edges Tag Die Set and Newton's Birdhouse.  Oh my Newton's Nook has super cute stamps and dies!!  I really like their Fancy Edges Tag as there are so many ways to use it.  I cut the tag out twice, then used the zigzag edge die to mimic grass underneath Newton.  This stamp set Newton's Birdhouse reminded me of our cat and how he sits under bird feeder so wanted to color this stamp up!  Love how it came out!
