My Creative Time Blog Hop

Today is the My Creative Time 35th Edition Release Blog Hop!

I'm showcasing the new Camera Bottom Layer Die ~ love the camera die and now it's even easier to add to your projects with the background cut!!


A few weeks ago I had pictures of my kids taken before school started.  I like to get yearly pictures of them together and they are so photogenic that the pictures always turn out fantastic!!  I think they get better every year!!  This pose I absolutely love and I purchased a new size print 4x10 that I knew would be just perfect to scrapbook!!  This camera die, the perfect touch to this layout.


I've always loved this camera die and now it has the perfect layer!!
 The new stamp/die set "Family is Everything" was perfect for the title and I used a couple of the paint mark stamps around the layout ~ love the look!!

Day 4 ~ My Creative Time Sneak Peek

It's our last day of  My Creative Time 35th Edition Sneaky Peeks, and we've got an awesome Die Set to share with you today!!  "Tag Die Layers" which coordinates with the Tag Dies ~ this set not only comes with the tags to 'layer' with the other tag dies but also words and a couple of 'edges'!  I think you are gonna love this one!!
I love post-it notes, actually anything "note" related so I have a blast designing note holders!!  Here I made an easel back card that holds some post it notes.  
 The new tag layer added that perfect touch to decorate the front of this note holder.
 If you can see in the background, I used the zig zag die that comes in this set too!  The "LOVE" is also a part of this new die set!
 Close up of the tags, Love and zig zag.  I also used the sentiment stamp from another new release stamp set we showcased earlier this week, "Family is Everything".  I highly recommend purchasing this whole release bundle as everything coordinates with everything!!!  Gotta LOVE it!!

Day 3 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

Day 3 of  sneaks for this months My Creative Time's 35th release!Today we are showcasing "Picture Perfect Stamps and Dies" and "Camera Bottom Layer Die" which has been long waiting!!  These are too perfect!!

Super perfect to have a die that becomes the back to the existing stitched camera die!! Doesn't it look awesome!  The sentiment stamp is from the new set "Picture Perfect".

Oh I am absolutely LOVIN' the Instant Camera Die!!!  There is also a stamp that coordinates with this die ~ gotta have it!!  I created this frame but can think of so many other projects to add this adorable camera to! The sayings with this stamp set are just too "perfect" too!!

Day 2 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

Day 2 of  sneaks for this months My Creative Time's 35th release!
Today we are showcasing "Family is Everything" which is a stamp set with coordinating dies!  This set is super fun with the ink spot stamps that come in it!  I loved using these stamps and made two cards to show!

This first card, I cut out the "love" die on white cardstock, then with the positive left on the cardstock, I inked away with the ink splotch stamps!!  After I was done, I removed the cut "love", glued in the negative pieces and then glued to the card front to have the cardstock color show through ~ how fun is this!!

 Here's a close up ~ almost looks like I cut "love" from pink cardstock and glued on top.

For this card, I actually used the positive cut "love" from the first card cause it looked so neat all stamped up!!

 With the ink splotches in the background, the "love" die cut looks perfect on the front!!

Day 1 ~ Sneak Peek for MCT Release

Today is the first day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's 35th release!
We are showcasing "Fun Vertical Greetings Stamp Set".  This set coordinates with the Embossed Gift Holder Die.  Love these vertical greetings!!  I used it on the Embossed Gift Card Holder Die but also just on a card to show the versatility of this set.

Here is the Embossed Gift Holder Die I created as a treat card for a Teacher.
 The inside shows one of the small treat size candy bars ~ fits perfect!!

Tag it Tuesday ~ photo/color inspiration

Today is Tag It Tuesday over on My Creative Time blog.
We are using this photo/color palette for inspiration.  I used the picture and colors as inspiration ~ love the colors and the bike with flowers gave me a great starting point for my tag.

 I used the fancy tri-fold card die as the base for my tag and then added the stitched 3x4 journal die to the center to "hide" the score lines from the card die.
Then I just added the sentiment and dies that inspired me from the picture.  This tag will be great to add to a gift bag or even compliment a scrapbook layout.

Gamer cards

I made a couple of cards for the "gamer" boy!  My son is always needing birthday cards for his friends, so I took the Echo Park Paper mini collection pack ~ Game On and whipped up a couple of cards.  I'll be doing a lot more as they are quick & easy and super cute!!
