I had a little time and thought of making a Thank You tag to hang from a cute little container filled with chocolates for co-workers.  Easier to group all the "thank yous" with a little treat and they will appreciate it!!

Bee Mine

Hi there!! This is Candace from Candi O. Designs and I'm here to showcase a new cut file by SVG Cutting Files that will be available in store  today ~ "Bee Mine".    Isn't this bee just the cutest ever!!  I really had too much fun designing with him that I got "lost in bees" and created a few projects to show how versatile he is when combined with other files!!

   I used the wine bottle tags to fit over this chocolate bar and then decorated with the new bee mine file.  The tag and label with sentiments are from My Creative Time.  Added some ribbon and twine with gems to complete this treat!

 Don't you just love this BEE!!!  I used the Handled Candy Pocket file, which I only used one of the pockets inside so I could add a large square candy bar and then added the Bee Mine file.  The sentiment and label are from My Creative Time.  Added some enamel dots and ribbon to complete the look. 

I found these mini Hershey's that have "bee" theme on the wrapper and knew they would be perfect to create a treat with this bee file!!  I used the Mini Nugget Platform Bases and increased the size a bit to hold these chocolates two deep so there are 6 inside the base.  Next, I picked the label edge (comes with the nugget file) to go on top and then added the bee file ~ yes he is perfect!!!  The label die and sentiment are from My Creative Time and then I added heart gems and closed up the box ends with twine.  

So this project, I wanted to show how the Bee Mine file doesn't just have to be for Valentines.  By changing the paper colors of the cut, it can be used for an everyday card or project!!  The card file is new, Ornate Base-3 which will be available for purchase Friday and made the perfect base to add the bee.  The sentiment and hexagon dies are from My Creative Time.  I completed the card by adding twine and enamel dots.

SVG Cutting Files Challenge ~ Anything for your Valentine

Hi Everyone!  Starting today, there is a new challenge at SVG Cutting Files, and this month we want to see some LOVE!!  Yes it's "Anything for your Valentine"!  This adorable "Bee Mine" file is perfect combined with the "beehive card kit" file.  Using some valentine theme paper with pink, white and red cardstock made for the perfect card to give my Valentine!

I purchased this stamp set "Java Time" from Jaded Blossom as the little girl is just too cute!!  Got out my copics, stamped her and colored away!  Love how cute she turned out!!!  I used the Tim Holtz "splatters" stencil to add what appears to be coffee spills to the card front.  It's so fun to play with inks!

Birthday Boy

It's my son's birthday tomorrow and needed to make up something quick!!  You think I'd learn as it's the same day each year but just coming out of Christmas really sets me back!  The older he gets, the harder it seems to find him that special gift and especially when he just got a bunch for Christmas.  Well I thought about it (quickly) and came up with making him his very own coupon book.  I filled with a bunch of coupons he can take advantage of throughout the year.  You know as a kid there are just things you don't want to do, heck I think we feel that as adults!!!  Anyways, I made up coupons like, One day off of Chores, Free lawn cutting pass, Free vacuuming day, Movie Night and a bunch more personalized for him and his lifestyle.  Knowing my son, he will be very pleased with this gift!!

So my brother was complaining on how much cards are to buy in the store......kinda pricey!  Well to help him out this year, I made a few cards for him to give our mom for those important holidays that you'd better not forget, like her birthday, mother's day and Christmas.  Here are two cards I made and better get in the mail to him fast since our Mom's birthday is this month.....(Mom if you are seeing this...pretend you didn't...lol!!)

My Mom loves sunflowers so this was a perfect combo ~ my brother is so thoughtful...haha!!

For Mother's Day, I wanted to have a balance between masculine and feminine.  Since this is from my brother, didn't want too frilly but since it's for my Mom, wanted a little bit "girly".  I think this card was the perfect balance.
