Creating with memorabilia

My brother had gotten me a bunch of Starbucks stickers and I've been collecting their coffee cup sleeves so I decided to "create" projects with them all.  First time making a layout with just memorabilia and no pictures, it was fun! Try it yourself with items you've collected from vacations or around the house.

(dies used: 4x4 Manhattan font, Edge-It Kit and Tag-It Kit)

(dies used: Pocket & Insert form Winter Wishes set, Nesting Circles and Rosettes)

The above gift card holder I made using the largest pocket die in Winter Wishes set. Before I adhered the sides to make the pocket, on the right, I attached a "handle", then taped shut.  The handle was made with nesting circles.

Did you know??

You can cut felt with Lifestyle Crafts dies!  Felt flowers are becoming a thing right now so DIY with the help of Nesting Flowers and Leaves by Lifestyle Crafts.  I made this pin cushion with inspiration from Better Homes & Gardens and made the scallop edge inside the box by cutting out with felt.  I'm starting to get quite the collection of pins as they are a big thing to add to layouts and cards so needed a cute little holder at my desk.

Windows

To change up the look of the boxes and bags die cuts that Lifestyle Crafts has, I create a "window".  You can do this by first cutting out the bag or box, then place a nesting die on the cut out die and run through the machine again, or do it this way.
Take the bag/box you want and using removable scotch tape, position the nesting die on the bag/box die where you want the cut out to be:
Then place your paper and run through the machine as usual and you will have this in one cut:

Fast and easy!!

Here is the finished box I made.  Will be a Class Kit to Go available at the store.
