Made in Minutes

It's Made in Minutes over on the My Creative Time Blog.
Our challenge is to design something that is "made in minutes" ~ with the products offered by My Creative Time, it's super fun and easy to do!!

With this card, I saved a lot of time by using the "extra" die cuts that I've cut from other projects.  When I have cuts that I don't use, I just place them inside the bags that the die cuts and stamps are in.  Then when I go to create a project, I just pull out the pre-done pieces ~ easy peasy!!
As you can see from my phone stopwatch, this card took me a little over 11 minutes to complete.  Again, having those extra die cuts saved time!

Close up of the dies and stamps I used.  Another quick & easy step is to add stamps with the die cuts.  Here you can see where I added a couple of flower stamps and added enamel dots in the centers.

Cowgirl Doll Stamp

Still having fun playing with the Prima Doll Stamps!!  With the new cowgirl one, I created a layout, tag and frame.  A friend of mine and I made the frame to give to another friend of ours that is definitely a "cowgirl"!  I loved the look of the doll once we paper pieced her together that I re-created her and made the tag and layout.  I will be giving the layout to a friend for the perfect pictures she has of her granddaughter!

Love doing these frames ~ the vinyl quotes that you can put right on the glass always add so much!  Now if I could only get better pictures of all the frames I've done........

Same doll stamp ~ so many different looks!!  Even the papers are the same but check out how different each project looks.

Designer Challenge - Color Palette

Today we are having a MCT Challenge on the My Creative Time blog.  The challenge is a color challenge.  We are to use the following color chart as inspiration to create a project.  I decided to do a layout and use the new Doodlebug Kraft in Color papers.  These papers are sooo fun with the different patterns and colors!  I had tons of fun creating this layout with an older photo of my kids and giving myself quite the challenge in using only the colors from the color inspiration photo.  What would you do with this inspiration??  Join our challenge!!

Scrapping the Little Things

Today is Scrapping the Little Things on the My Creative Time blog.

I took a picture of my daughter with her best friend/neighbor to use the newest "girly" line by Bella Blvd. ~ Molly Collection.  These two girls are quite something and I wanted to capture them at their best!!  Friends will come and go, but pictures last forever!  Who knows, maybe my daughter will be pulling this page from her scrapbook and showing her friend years from now.  I hope so as these are the moments in life we have to treasure!

Using MCT products added the perfect extras to made this layout super cute!!  I added the camera die cut to a camera already on one of the paper journal pieces and then pop dotted the small star die cut to the camera to create a "flash" look, then tucked the journal card into the pocket die.  Love it!!
