Today is day three of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's 38th release!
We are showcasing two new sets ~"Snow Buddies" and "Winter Snowman Dies". These two sets coordinate with each other and personally ~ are a MUST HAVE!!!
I had "snow" much fun with these sets that I created three projects utilizing the sets to the fullest!!
First, I made this gift carrier as these lotions were perfectly wintery for a snowman! From the Snowman dies, I pieced this little man together. The sentiment is from the stamp set "Snow Buddies". You can see too how the oval dies we sneaked on Day 1 work well with these sets!!
Next, I used the second snowman die to create this little man who I thought was perfect to go onto the front of a pack of tic tacs. I just covered the tic tacs with cardstock and then decorated the front. I added a little pom pom to his hat for added detail.
Lastly, I created this gate-fold card using the new oval die cuts and the "Snow Buddies" stamp set. I colored in this little snowman using copics and wink of stella pens ~ love how he turned out and he was so much fun (and therapeutic) to color!! Bonus: with the die set, there is a die that cuts the stamped snowmen out perfectly!!!!
To make this card: score a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock at 2 3/4 and 8 1/4 on the 11" side. Fold scored lines towards middle to made card. Next, cut ovals as shown. With the large scallop oval, glue half to left flap. Small inside oval, glue half to right flap. Easy & Fun!!
