Digi Choosday Challenge with Polkadoodles

Hello my crafty friends!!  

It's Tuesday and it's time for a new ANYTHING GOES challenge over on the DIGI CHOOSDAY BLOG!  It's also time for a new DISCOUNT  for the POLKADOODLES SHOP to get awesome deal.  Head on over to the blog and grab the discount code!

For today's challenge project, the task was to make something using at least 3 tags and a hero image.  I love the new Winnie Sunshine Delights digital paper pack so I used those papers as a starter for my card. I used two of the papers for tags and the base of the card.  Next I added the sentiment and nurse image from Winnie Heroes - Printable Digital Download Bundle.  Great card to send to one of my nurse friends!!

Stamp Anniething May Release - Day #3

Welcome to the Third day of Stamp Anniething's May Release!
Enjoy!!

Last day of May Release and we are showcasing Carson ~ Claim your Worth.

I used rainbow foil on the Geo Triangles stencil and cut out a strip.  I added Be You word die and used the circle die from Shaker Basics #1 to cut out paper from Save the Day paper pad to create the background for Carson.  I also used the outline die to cut out the stamp.

Stamp Anniething May Release - Day #2

 For Day #2, we are showcasing Margaret and Angela ~ Always by your Side.

 I used the new Geo Triangles Stencil and Geo Triangle Border Die for the background on my card.  Used the outline die to cut out Margaret and Angela and used the sentiment from their set. Gems are from Save the Day Grab and Go Box.

Stamp Anniething May Release - Day #1

Welcome to the First day of Stamp Anniething's May Release!
Enjoy!!

Up first is Michael and Ryan ~ All For Love.  Also for this month's release is a sentiment stamp set ~ Never Hide Your Pride, Be You Word Die, Geo Triangle Border Die and Geo Triangles Stencil.  And of course, outline dies for each of the 3 stamp sets.

I used the new sentiment stamp set ~ Never Hide Your Pride with the banner dies, cornered the paper background with corner edger dies and also used the Open Mat Circle Die to create the background for Michael and Ryan ~ All For Love.  I also used the outline die for Michael and Ryan.

Digi Chooseday Challenge!

Hello my crafty friends!!  

It's Tuesday and it's time for a new ANYTHING GOES challenge over on the DIGI CHOOSDAY BLOG!  It's also time for a new DISCOUNT  for the POLKADOODLES SHOP to get awesome deal.  Head on over to the blog and grab the discount code!

For today's challenge project, the task was to make an Easel card with a difference and use an image featuring dinosaurs.  I started out with this fun fold Easel card base, it's more of a twist on the traditional Easel card.  I downloaded the file:  Dragon Onesie Little Dude - Little Dudes which I used the pattern papers from this set.  (will use this little dude later as he's too  cute!) After I printed off 2 of the papers, I used circle die cuts with them.  Next, I printed off Sticks & Bones - Design Sheet 1 and cut the images I wanted out. I matted the dinosaur and little guy with the cut out circles and attached to the easel card flap.  I used the paper from this design sheet for the bottom of the card and pop dotted the sentiment oval to anchor the easel card flap.  I also embellished the bottom with pieces from design sheet and the top circle with leaf die cuts. These cards are so fun to make and easy to mail because they fold flat!!

Lemon Shortbread

Prize ~ 3 Images

I used the image Rainy Day Girl with Umbrella by Lemon Shortbread.  I printed out image and then used a rectangle die cut to cut out the scene.  I printed out another copy of this image and used my silhouette to cut around just the girl so I could pop her up on scene.  I used distress oxide inks for background and copics to color girl.  Super fun to try different techniques!!

Desk Calendars

I found some notepads with matching pens in my project stash so decided to make some desk calendar notepad holders.  I matched papers to the design/theme of the notepads and pens. Three of them have 2020/2021 calendars and the other three just have 2021.  I wanted to use up the 2020 calendars I had left as the year is almost half over!  Love how they turned out!!  Interested in buying one???  Check out my Etsy Store.
