Today Maven Candace is sharing with us her take on the sketch. The layout is of her daughter Madison receiving an award at school in the third grade. Great take on the sketch Candace!! Love all the bright primary colors on this one!! It definitely screams "school layout"!

Paper Nest Dolls - Emma with Heart Banner

 Hello my crafty friends!!  

It's Candace here today on the Paper Nest Dolls blog!!

Today I'm showcasing the new stamp Emma with Heart Banner.  This stamp comes in red rubber and in digital.  I used the digital form and printed her out.

I added a heart shaker piece to this card to match with Emma.  

Copics used:

Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20

Hair: YR27, YR24, Y26, Y32

Skirt and Jacket: RV14, RV13, RV11

Top and Heart Banner: RV23, RV21

Pants, Shoes and Hair Bow: BG15, BG13, BG11

 I added some white dots to top, hair band and bows on shoes with white gel pen.  I also added a enamel heart to hair band bow.

Digi Choosday with Polkadoodles

 Hello my crafty friends!!  

It's Tuesday and it's time for a new ANYTHING GOES challenge over on the DIGI CHOOSDAY BLOG!  It's also time for a new DISCOUNT  for the POLKADOODLES SHOP to get awesome deal.  Head on over to the blog and grab the discount code!

For today's challenge project, the theme is New Beginnings, use any image and pastel Spring colors.  I used the Baby Boom Digital Craft Download Bundle to create this envelop 3D card.  I cut out the base of the card then added paper and embellishments from the bundle.  I added small buttons, twine and heart enamel dots to complete this sweet card.  A new baby is a new beginning!

Paper Nest Dolls - Angel Emma catching Star (new release)

   Hello my crafty friends!!  

It's Candace here today on the Paper Nest Dolls blog!!

Today I'm showcasing the new stamp Angel Emma catching star.  This stamp comes in red rubber and in digital.  I used the digital form and printed her out.

I used the Stitched Cloud Backdrop and Simple Puffy Clouds by Lawn Fawn for my background.  I inked the backdrop and edges of clouds with Tumbled Glass oxide ink. The sentiment I printed off on vellum paper and wrapped around the bottom.  The background scallop and stars die cuts were in my stash and added to the card.  After I colored up Emma, I used foam dots and attached her to the center.

I also used a clear glitter pen around halo and on star.  I added some white dots to dress and cloud with white gel pen.

For today's challenge project, the theme is Springtime, use Darling Buds or Winnie image, use bright spring colors, no pastels and use a Polkadoodles stencil.  For my card, I used the image Sunshine Delight Cutest Winnie, Cloud Landscape Stencil, Grass Lawn Border Stencil, Delicate Daisy cutting die and sentiment from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Sentiments.  I used bright distress oxide ink with the stencils to give a bold spring background.  I used copics to color up the daisy die cut to match.  Winnie is super cute and perfect for Spring!

  Hello my crafty friends!

I made this birthday card for a friend.  I used Gift Card Base Die Cut on the front of the card and tucked in a gift card for the recipient.  The image is Sierra - Make a Wish from Stamp Anniething and the candle dies are Slimline Birthday Scallops Die from Whimsy Stamps. The pattern papers and sentiment are from PhotoPlay Paper ~ Party Girl Collection.
