I'm excited to share a recipe card I made with the New Peachy Keen Stamps January 2014 Release.  The chef is perfect for recipes!!  My Son had written out this recipe at school and told me it sounded like a good recipe we could try.  We made it and YES it was a good recipe ~ quick & easy too!!  Knew I had to make a recipe card to add this recipe to my stand and the little chef was just the right touch!!  Love Peachy Keen Stamps!!

Thrifty Thursday

Happy Thursday!  Today is Thrifty Thursday on My Creative Time Blog. The goal was to create a project using scraps/leftovers or a recycled item. I went for both!!  Using scraps, I made a toilet paper tube into a treat holder!  In my house the "4 square" rule doesn't apply and my husband thinks we "eat" the tissue!  Now I can show him that it's all cause I need the tubes ~ lol!!  Here are the containers I made (filled with chocolates!) which will hang nicely on my kid's door handles on Valentine's Day!

Sneak Peek....

Here's a little sneak peek at a new class that will be in store tomorrow!  I designed the frame and had my husband make it. I wanted to do something different this year and thought about a project that could change with the seasons or special occasions.  This frame is perfect to display "banners".  I will design a "banner" kit for holidays/occasions which can be added to the frame or you could even use ribbon to display the banners if not wanting the frame.  Check it out in store for a better view!!

I've been wanting to make these note holders for awhile now!  Finally got a chance and glad I waited for the stamp set by My Creative Time as the typewriter on the corner added the perfect touch!  I'm going to give these away as "Thank-yous" instead of cards for friends. A useful gift they can use all year long :~)

Stinkin' Cute!!

I made this card for my "bestie" as she loves pigs and this one was too cute!! Thank you to Lee-Ann, one of my design team sistas, for the inspiration to make this card!  There are soooo many paper piecing images out there and sometimes you just need to see one done up to appreciate the "cuteness factor"!
I used the envelope punch board to make the file folder card base ~ so fun and so many uses for this cool tool! The file folder look was perfect to add a gift card inside using the gift card pocket die by My Creative Time. Click here to see a great tutorial on how to make this file folder card with the We R Memory Punch Board.

MCT Challenge

Happy Thursday!!  Today we are having a My Creative Time Challenge.

Just finished designing recipes for my recipe class this month.  Love the Chunky Jar Dies by My Creative Time ~ worked perfect on this recipe.

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!  Today is Scrapping the Little Things on the My Creative Time blog.

Here is the layout I did using a picture from our trip to Disney World this last fall.  We had so much fun and I'm so excited I got to "scrap" about it!!

 MCT dies and stamps made this layout come together beautifully!!  Here is a close up of the ticket dies and new stitched gift card pocket which makes an awesome holder for journaling and such on a page!

Here's another close up of the cute little camera die with the new stitched hearts~ love it!!

Busy Bee...

Sorry I've been "neglecting" by blog lately....I've been a busy bee getting ready for the Sneak Peek of the New Release by My Creative Time that starts tomorrow!! I'm sure you won't be disappointed in all the projects I'll be showing all week long!!

 YAY!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited and honored!!! 
My Creative Time has the CUTEST stamps and dies and I just cannot wait to start playing with all those awesome products!!!! 

I am excited to work beside these talented 
and creative "My Creative Time" Designers too!

Just to tell you a little bit about myself ~ I've been married 11+ years to a very supportive, humorous man! I have two children: Mitchell who will be 11 next week and Madison who is 8 1/2.  These two definitely keep my camera active daily!  I am fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom/wife who is always there for my family, yet able to have this hobby as a part-time job for my creative outlet. I love sharing my passion and creativity with others and hope to inspire each of you with my creations!!
