Week Four / Team Four - Maven Candace's Take on Sketch # 454 by Laura Rumble

 Welcome to Week Four / Day Nine and our final sketch reveal  for the month of January. We're also introducing the final member of the Sketches in Thyme Design Team - Candace Oliarny.  Today, Candace will be sharing her take on sketch #454 by our very own talented designer Laura Rumble.  

  

We are extremely excited to have Candace join us and share her wonderful talent with us. Here is a little about her. 

I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband, son and daughter. I have been paper crafting for over 18 years now. I started out scrapbooking my wedding album then doing my 2 children’s albums. I enjoy making layouts and documenting events, milestones and everything! Sketches make layouts fun and easy and I'm excited to join the design team at Sketches in Thyme!

Maven Candace created this layout with pictures of the daily shenanigans of their Elf on the Shelf, Stealth, and his reindeer friend Buddy. What a great event to document, and this sketch is definitely perfect for it!

Digi Choosday with Polkadoodles

 Hello my crafty friends!!

For today's challenge project, the theme is snow day, use any snowy image and make anything.  I used the image Delivery Time - Winnie Christmas Wishes.   I colored her and her friends up with snowy/winter colors to make them wintery instead of Christmas.  Love these images that you can color up many ways just to change the theme! The paper is from Winnie Winterland - Paper Heaven 1 and for the sentiment, I used Winnie White Christmas Sentiments (60+).

Valentine's Day

 Hello my crafty friends!

I did a color along live video with Stamp Anniething using this adorable Purrfect Valentines Digital Stamp.  After my image was colored, I created this shaker card using Shaker Basics #1, Banner Dies, Heart Sprinkles and Heart Sequin Mix.  I used Doodlebug Designs paper and a couple of die cut hearts to complete this card.  Love how it turned out!!

I'm entering this card in the Besties International Challenge January 2021.

For today's challenge project, the theme is winter boots, use any image with boots and make something with the boots as the focus.  I used the image Wrapped up Warm and coloured the boots Winnie is wearing a bright pink to stand out.  Love this image!!  The paper is from Printable Papers 2 - Winnie White Christmas and for the sentiment, I used Winnie White Christmas Sentiments (60+).

 Hi there!!  This is Candace from Candi O. Designs and it's been awhile since I've been over at SVG Cutting Files!   I'm back with projects to inspiration for you!!

It's my son's 18th birthday today....yes 18...I can not believe it!?!  

I wanted to make him a WOW! factor card for this milestone.

I used a few files to create this pop up birthday card.  I started off with the Card Box Plain then added Kawaii Single Layer Cake, Kawaii Balloon and then used the 1 and 8 from Kawaii Nerdy Birthday Candles.  This turned out to be a perfect 18th card for my son!!!!  Super fun card!!
